Ultherapy and the non-surgical facelift
Lifting and tightening the skin with ultrasound — tangible results without surgery or downtime
What is Ultherapy?
Ultherapy is an FDA-approved medical technology that uses high-precision focused ultrasound (HIFU) to tighten sagging skin and stimulate collagen production in the deep layers — the same layers a surgeon treats in a facelift, but without an incision, anaesthesia or recovery.
Areas it treats
- The lower eyelid and the area under the eyes
- The cheeks and the puffy area at the lower face (Jowls)
- The sagging neck and chin
- The eyebrows (a light lift)
- The décolletage area (upper chest)
How does the technology work?
The device uses focused ultrasound waves that penetrate the skin without harming the surface, concentrating their energy in the deep supporting layer (SMAS), the same layer the surgeon tightens. The generated heat stimulates collagen cells to regenerate, producing a gradual, natural tightening that extends over 3-6 months.
Who benefits most?
Ideal for people in middle age who notice mild to moderate sagging and do not want surgery at present, or those who want to "extend" the result of a previous facelift. It is not a substitute for surgery in severe cases.
During and after the session
The session takes 30-90 minutes depending on the areas treated. Most patients feel a light tingling while the waves are delivered. You can return immediately to daily activity — there is no recovery period, no lasting redness and no swelling. The result begins to appear after 4-6 weeks, completes after 3-6 months and lasts about a year.
Other non-surgical techniques
The center also offers complementary techniques such as filler injections, Botox and the thread lift system, which can be combined for a more comprehensive result without needing surgery. The doctor determines the most suitable protocol for your case during the consultation.
