What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances injected under the skin to add volume, fill hollows and static wrinkles, and define facial features. The most commonly used is hyaluronic acid — a natural substance already found in your body.

Their biggest advantage: they are reversible with an injection of the enzyme hyaluronidase if you are not satisfied with the result.

Dermal filler treatment areas

💋

Lip augmentation

Adding volume and definition to the lips or correcting asymmetry. The result is natural when facial proportions are respected — exaggeration gives an artificial look.

🌙

Under-eye hollows

Filling the hollows caused by a tear trough or loss of volume under the eyes. One of the most delicate procedures — it requires precise medical expertise.

🌸

Cheeks and cheekbones

Restoring cheek volume that is lost with age, or defining the cheekbone structure for a more beautiful, softer look.

🔷

Chin and jaw

Defining and lengthening the chin non-surgically, or defining the jawline for a more balanced, sharper look.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty

Correcting slight curves in the nose or lifting the nasal tip with precise injections. A temporary option for those who want to try the result before surgery.

💧

Skin hydration (Skin Boosters)

Light-density hyaluronic acid injected into the superficial layer to hydrate the skin from within and improve its glow and texture.

Frequently asked questions

Is filler injection painful?
The needle is very fine and a topical numbing cream is applied 20-30 minutes before the session. Discomfort is usually very mild. Some fillers contain an added anaesthetic (Lidocaine) to reduce sensation during injection.
Can the filler be removed if I don't like it?
Yes — this is one of the biggest advantages of hyaluronic acid. The enzyme hyaluronidase dissolves the filler within 24-48 hours. That is why hyaluronic acid fillers, not permanent fillers, are always recommended.
Can sessions be repeated?
Yes, usually every 6-18 months depending on the area and the amount of filler. Over time many patients need smaller doses, because hyaluronic acid stimulates natural collagen production.
What is the difference between Botox and fillers?
Botox relaxes muscles to soften movement wrinkles. Fillers add volume and fill hollows. The face usually benefits from both together. Read about Botox
