Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)
Natural curves from your own fat
What is a BBL?
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) combines liposuction of unwanted areas such as the abdomen and flanks with re-injection of that fat into the buttocks, to achieve full, natural curves. What sets this procedure apart is that it uses your own body fat, so the result looks and feels natural without artificial implants. Dr. Ahmad Dawood injects the fat precisely in multiple layers to support the survival of as much of the transferred fat as possible. The result is twofold — a sculpted figure in the liposuction areas and full, well-proportioned buttocks — and it lasts for a long time as long as your weight remains stable.

Buttock augmentation techniques
Traditional BBL — autologous fat transfer
Fat is harvested from several areas, purified and then injected into the buttocks in multiple layers. It is the most common technique because it uses the body's own natural tissue.
BBL with waist sculpting (360 Lipo)
Adds comprehensive liposuction of the entire waistline (abdomen, sides and lower back), which accentuates the curves of the buttocks further and creates a balanced, well-proportioned silhouette.
Buttock augmentation with implants
An alternative for patients who do not have enough fat to transfer, using medical-grade silicone implants designed specifically for the buttocks. Dr. Ahmad Dawood discusses the most suitable option and assesses each case individually.
Who is a good candidate for a BBL?
A good candidate is a woman in good health with a stable weight, who has enough fat in other areas of the body to be harvested and transferred; a body mass index below 30 is preferred. Non-smokers achieve better results, because smoking affects the survival of the transferred fat. Realistic expectations are essential, as the result depends on the amount of fat available and the body's original structure, and the doctor assesses each case individually.
What to expect during and after the procedure
The surgery begins with liposuction of the designated areas; the fat is then purified, prepared and injected into the buttocks in small amounts and in multiple layers to support its survival. After the procedure you must avoid sitting directly on the buttocks for 2-3 weeks and use a special BBL cushion, and wear a compression garment for 6 weeks. Swelling subsides gradually over 4-6 weeks, and you can return to office work after 2-3 weeks. The final result appears after 3-6 months, once the transferred fat has settled, with a large part of it remaining long-term.
